Hi there!
Great post! Thanks so much for writing.
Here's a response to your question:

1) GUNAS Bags are produced in limited quantities using small family owned operations. We do not produce bags by the 1000's. No more than 250 per style will ever be produced.
2) You can pay anywhere from $200 -$2000 or more for Vegan bags (Think Matt & Natt vs Stella McCartney) With GUNAS you are bridging that price point while still providing quality "designer" vegan bags.
3) GUNAS bags do not contain any PVC and the materials meet European manufacturing standards. In simpler words they are just better quality.
4) 10% of our profit is donated to charities that work directly to benefit animal welfare charities and organizations.
5) In the world of today, it is cheaper to slaughter animals and convert them to leather than it is to make quality man-made materials that are not only good for the earth but also for us. Think about the difference between cheap leather versus exotic leathers. You can get a $50 leather bag and then you can also get a $10,000 exotic skin leather bag.

So in conclusion it is our design, quality and commitment of providing the best in "designer green fashion" at attainable prices that makes our Brand special :)

Hello! I am trying to find a contact email for you but I am not able to. We invented a really cool game called Fur & Feathers. It was MADE IN THE USA, teaches children COMPASSION towards animals and also tips about taking care of pets, spaying and neutering, eating healthy and more. The best part is that the game is actually very FUN. It teaches reading, counting, vocabulary and strategy too!
I just wanted to share it with you. It's at www.AnimalMatters.com.
